• It is a Michelin solution that extends the life of a tyre by up to 20-30%* and provides customers with the best value over the life of the tyre.
• A multi-life tyre begins with a well-engineered case such as a Michelin casing which is specifically designed with durability in mind. A casing such as this provides a solid base on which the tyre is built and allows the tyre to remain strong and safe throughout the multi-life stages including regrooving and retreading.

2. Who can use MICHELIN Multi-Life?

• There is the potential for any Michelin casing that has been correctly maintained to be regrooved, and/or retreaded.

3. Can MICHELIN Multi-Life offer be applied to other tyre manufacturers casing?

• Some tyre manufacturers do not design their tyres to be regrooved or retreaded and they are manufactured with a much lower tread depth.
• While Michelin retreads are always compatible with their casings, other brands cannot guarantee this. Consequently, other brands may have shorter life.

4. How can MICHELIN Multi-Life reduce the cost of my tyre usage?

• For example using approximate figures;
- New tyre cost = 100, New tyre life = 100
- Regroove cost = 5% of new tyre, increased tyre life = 25% of new tyre
- Retread cost = 45% of new tyre, increase tyre life = 90% of new tyre
• MICHELIN Multi-Life can save at least 10-20%*of the tyre cost at a reasonable purchase price level and even much more with other competitor tyres (could be up to 20-30%*).

• Your local Michelin representative can analyse your usage and simulate the cost saving. With simple calculation, set objectives and action plan, your Michelin representative can demonstrate to you your cost saving.

6. Why should I choose MICHELIN Multi-Life?

• The Michelin casing is specifically designed with durability in mind. It provides a solid base on which the tyre is built and allows the tyre to remain strong and safe throughout the multi-life stages including regrooving and retreading.
• MICHELIN retread designs are similar to original product and therefore will have similar performance as a new tyre.
• The Michelin retreading process is guaranteed by certified Michelin Retread factory.
