Michelin launches its own retread brand "MICHELIN Retread" in Australia and New Zealand
Michelin delivers customers the lowest cost of ownership with premium quality and environmental friendliness.
Melbourne 18th March 2010 - Michelin reveals its new MICHELIN-labelled Retread offer at the International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Expo 18-20 March 2010 at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds - Ascot Vale. MICHELIN Retread delivers all of the benefits in a retreaded tyre as found in a new MICHELIN tyre to customers in Australia and New Zealand.
"A premium truck and bus tyre with an exceptional casing can provide multiple lives when well maintained, regrooved & retreaded. Our objective with the launch of the new MICHELIN Retread is to ensure that our customers benefit from all that Michelin offers during each life of the Michelin case resulting in the lowest cost of ownership," stated Paul Johnston, Commerical Director Truck - Michelin Australia.
Benefiting from over 80 years of Michelin retreading experience, a technologically advanced industrial process and the strict Michelin Quality System control, Michelin Accredited Retread Factories 're-manufacture' the Michelin casing to meet Michelin new tyre standards. By utilizing Michelin New Tyre technologies, the new MICHELIN Retread delivers original tyre performance benefits such as: Lowest Cost of Ownership, Safety, Quality, Reliability, Innovation, Fuel Savings and Environmental Friendliness backed by Michelin Technical support and the industry's leading Warranty.
The MICHELIN Retread benefits not only the customer's bottom line, but also the environment. By using retreaded truck tyres, the industry is capable of getting more kilometres out of a tyre casing before it is scrapped. In addition, Michelin has further reduced rolling resistance to both casing and tread, providing not only significant fuel savings to customers, but also reducing CO2 emissions.
Dedicated to the improvement of sustainable mobility, Michelin designs, manufactures and sells tyres providing the right balance between performance, safety, fuel savings efficiency and longevity for every type of vehicle. Through over 100 years of Michelin truck tyre innovation and over 80 years of retreading experience, Michelin benefits the end user by offering a Michelin multi-life casing to achieve the lowest cost of ownership and improve the bottom line.
This new MICHELIN Retread offer will be available soon through authorized Michelin dealers in Australia and New Zealand. Michelin Retreads, just like New. For more information, visit http://transport.michelin.com.au
